We the owners should start putting together a list of residents interested in running for the board. It is early but that is ok. Time to really get to know each persons qualifications and what they will do as board member.

The owners are making great comments and suggestions on this Blog Site and the Webmaster is running with them. As it should be. President( Webmaster ) get suggestions then makes it happen.

"Dear Mr. Sansone:
As a former employee I find this website kind of sad.  In the past we all worked so hard to keep Anasazi clean and nice and we were able to be proud of what we did.  
There is no way to get the top of the carports clean except getting your Building Services crew up on ladders with rakes and blowers.  (Make sure they cover the cars...or have them moved.) 

 They should have done it before it got hot though. It takes awhile but you only have to do it 3 to 4 times a year if you keep up with it.     

Oh, never mind, you don't have a Building Services crew anymore do you...just some outside company to sweep walkways.   


I don't know about the rest of the former staff, but I'd come back....bet most of them would too.....

Why Not !!

Well this is just an educated question I believe, We have payed and are getting our Paver Blocks finally on Thursday, Now the other day when Wayne, Dan and Pete spent hours putting in a new drain that flows uphill??  


I ask if they were to put paver blocks on the connecting sidewalk behind building 5......LIKE other building's ...This would fix this problem...WELL They say we have NO MONEY??


Brian Mcbride say they are not connecting walkways..BUT They Are......I would argue with him ...But It is like arguing with a Rock

My question is how much are we wasting by spending days fixing the same problem, See picture

The 5 day old drain has already filled with dirt and mud, So is it cheaper to keep fixing weekly or take care of the problem once and for all 


Or keep ignoring that the Trees Need to be Trimmed...


The needles are every where Drains are clogged, Pool filters Clogged..Carports are filled.....Again One fix cures many problems...BUT OUR BOARD DOES NOT SEE IT.   WHY???     THEY ARE NOT HERE..


Cant blame office ..These are Board Actions.


C'mon This is not Rocket Science and with The HOA Fees we pay this place should be IMMACULATE  ..
ENOUGH  EXCUSES

Building 5 Paver Block Update

The pavers are being installed on Thursday, May 30th.  Ro will be putting up flyers by the covered parking for the resident’s to move their vehicles by 8:00 AM on Thursday morning.

BIG Thank You


Great Big Thank You to Delores Stromburg, Barb Stein and all The Ladies who put together a Wonderful Memorial Day Get Together in our Community Clubhouse on Monday, It was attended by a very large crowd and this being my first Memorial day with this group..

Everybody was very kind and the assortment of food and goodies was just delicious.It was what we all call a great time and was very appreciated, We thank you for the invite and the great hospitality shared. Many of the Blog supporters there also and thank you all for the pats on the back..  If anyone would like to send your Thank You notes to these wonderful ladies I would be happy to publish..AGAIN THANK YOU !!

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Approved by The Board of Directors May 9, 1989
(Revised 8/7/95,8/1/97,2/17/98,2/16/00,3/19/01,10/22/01,
3/1/02,7/15/02,10117/02

HERE ARE THE RULES STATED IN CC&R'S   Nobody Adheres To !!

25. All residents are required to display the Anasazi parking sticker or guest pass on the inside
lower left-hand corner of their windshield. Vehicles owners, who cannot be identified because of noncompliance
with this rule, will be assessed the cost of obtaining a Department of Motor Vehicles report
and/or other costs incurred in identifying the owner of such vehicle. Residents shall park their vehicle in their assigned numbered parking space. One covered space per unit. Guests are to park in the
uncovered spaces only. Compliance with all parking restrictions shall be adhered to.
Parking violations include, but are not limited to the following: 1) Parking in another resident's
assigned space; 2) Parking in a fire lane, no parking zone, in front of a dumpster, in a disabled space
without proper identification, blocking the entrance to a cart path or walkway, resident parking in
visitor spaces for extended periods, unsightly, abandoned or unregistered vehicles and vehicles backed
into parking spaces. Vehicles in violation will be towed, at the owner's expense, per City of Phoenix
Code 36-144.


THIS MEANS PARK IN YOUR SPACE ONLY

26. Guests must be accompanied by resident when using Anasazi facilities. Pool and Billiard guests are limited to two.


SO YOU CANT BRING A VANLOAD OF KIDS TO SWIM ..... WAYNE !!!



31. No Dwelling Unit shall be let, rented, or leased for a period of less than thirty
(30) days

(NO SHORT TERM PERIOD LETS ENFORCE PLEASE)



32. Pool #1 ONLY may be utilized for pool parties under the following conditions:
(1) Requesting resident to sign Reservation Application and Use Agreement form; (2) $150.00
compliance deposit required; (3) one group at the pool at a time consisting of no more than 20 guests
including children; (4) resident requesting the use of the pool must be present at all times and is the
solely responsible party; (5) one adult with the group must be present at the pool for every two children
age 16 years and younger that are part of the group; (6) only individual flotation devices are permitted:


21. Rules of behavior for the swimming pools and pool areas will be promulgated by the Board of
Directors, and all residents and their families and guests must abide by such rules. Pool and Spa hours
for residents and guests are to be observed as posted. Swim attire is not allowed in the clubhouse.
Pool rest rooms are provided off the second floor clubhouse balcony. Food or pets are not permitted in

the pool areas. Beverages must be in cans or plastic containers. Swim equipment or inflatable objects,
floats, fins and snorkels are prohibited in all pools 
and spas (except individual floats are permitted at
Pools 1, 2 and 5). 


Children 16 years of age and younger must have adult supervision when using pools
and spas



(DOES THIS MEAN NO MORE LITTLE DINNER GATHERINGS AT POOL ??)   OR ONLY SPECIAL POOLS GET TO HAVE FLOATS  ..What A Joke !!!!



17. Parking spaces shall be used for the purpose of parking operative automobiles, passenger vans
and small trucks (not in excess of 3/4 ton) only. Except for moving vans, vehicles on service calls, or
as specifically permitted by the Board, no trucks (in excess of 3/4 ton), commercial vehicles, trailers or
boats may be parked on the property.

Thank you for the recap of pool and parking rules and regulations. BUT.....I already know these and live by these. I am not the problem.

I to have been here for 11 years and would sell to get out of Anasazi but I would have to take a 50% loss. Bad investment, time to move on.

WHO ON THIS PROPERTY HAS THE AUTHORITY TO ENFORCE THESE RULE? 



If the board will not do it and Wayne will not do it, them who is watching out for us, the GOOD GUYS?


This old, incompetent, do nothing board has no urgency to enforce the rules and regulations, and Wayne thinks rules and regulations are a TECHNiCALITY, not to be enforced.

We as a society would be in deep s--- if the Police and other Law Enforcement decided we are not going to enforce the laws! 

Time to march on Wayne's office and demand he enforce all rules and regulations as written. If he won't then fire him immediately and get someone who will. I have had enough.....

Reply to Michigan Resident! You are not here to see how incompetent this management team and this board is.

Please read Webmaster's post on Wayne's reply on enforcing rules and regulations. Wayne says, enforcing rules is a technicality and we would all be in trouble if we enforced the rules! Sounds like a Liberal Response!

HOW STUPID IS THAT REMARK!

No we wouldn't Wayne, only the rule breakers and short term renters would be in trouble. The year around residents suffer when you do not enforce the rules for the short term renters.

Wayne! Are you incapable of making hard decisions? If you were my direct report you would have been gone long ago!

Parking, Pools, Rental Agreements, Short Term Renters nothing is being enforced. Do as you like here at Anasazi no need to be afraid of anybody enforcing any rules and regulations.

Mr. Webmaster. We need to put together an emergency meeting of the owners covering the following topics:

Items on the agenda:

1. Petition demanding this board resign or be replaced.
2. We demand all rules and regulations be enforced.
3. AAM'S contract be terminated and all AAM
employees leave the property
4. New board to replace this incompetent board
5. Move to self management with new board

This current board ignores YOU, ME and every other owner's concerns on how bad AAM is, rules and regulations no being enforced by board or Wayne.

Right now we the owners have 5 board members protecting their private interests and the rest of us get screwed as they use Anasazi as their private Piggy Bank!

The time is now to act If the board ignores the Webmaster and all the other owners, then who are they working for?

Every full time resident knows this happens everyday and worse on the weekends. Wayne and Roe knows this is happening. The board knows this is happening We made them aware of it at the last 3 board meetings.


Mr. Birchmore! When the first child drowns in the pools or drowns in the spas, and you are asked by the Police or Lawyers were you aware that short term renters were proping pool gates open with rocks, no supervision at the pools, jumping of the waterfalls ( Broken Necks)





You have to answer yes! Then the lawsuits begin.
There will be at least 100 residents tell the police or lawyers you were aware of the situation and "CHOSE" to do nothing about it!

Your words! We don't want to, we can't afford to, signs will work, bigger signs will work even better, we are not changing. 



Your signs are obiviously not working. You better rethink your pool policies immediately and protect the owners from the coming lawsuits.

Owners! We cannot allow this to go on 1 day longer.


This incompetent board is putting us in a terrible position.

When the board members don't live here and 75% of the owners live in Canada, Michigan, Illinois they are not here to see this and they don't care. 
All the visitors care about is that we spend $15,000 per month heating "THEIR" pool....In Winter


We need to organize a Occupy Anasazi Protest covered by channel 3 to demand this board be replaced immediately for incompetence.

WEBMASTER PISSED OFF !!

Ok you all know when I get angry about things I tell it like it is !           PERIOD


AGAIN WHAT RULES ARE THE REAL ONES HERE??


Day 2 of HOTEL ANASAZI  (*See Pics Below*)


So today the OCTOMOM  and 6 kids pull in here in a mini van  


NO they do not live here !!


But they using a Owners Key from building 2 to bring kids here to swim daily!!


AGAIN today the kids are jumping off waterfalls   THEN   The mother loses track of 2 yr old and we have to tell her from our balcony he is in jacuzzi !!!   Scary !!


So I call WAYNE AND ROE AND ........They come talk to her and I ask why they are here with out escort by resident ?? She claims she has friends who own in building 2..


So why are you in pool on this side of complex and could you fit any more kids in that van you transport here


THE BOARD CLEARLY STATED ALL GUESTS AT POOL MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY RESIDENT ???????


Wayne and Roe  tell me it's a technicality and every one would be in trouble if we followed the rule !!   You believe that BULLSHIT ANSWER??  Sorry but it was! BUT Its the answer the Board leaves him with !


So Roe and Wayne leave and the kids continue to run and jump around pool.another 20 minutes before leaving and then head to another pool !!  ..Great idea of late to document with pictures


CMON Wayne and Roe...You should be watching grounds and pools specifically after all pics posted yesterday and calls about this issue.. We cannot watch dog 24 hours here..Ignorance will never be a defense against a lawsuit


THIS PLACE IS NOT THAT BUSY THAT A STROLL AROUND THE GROUNDS IN THE AFTERNOON TIME WHEN YOU CAN FIND ALL THE SHORT TERM RENTERS AT POOL


OR Do we just keep ignoring??   Like to see the response if this was happening in November ...when all the prissys are at their pools...You would all be outraged that your  time here was disturbed....Boo hoo  ..like we are forced to all summer

Dan and Pete are staying. Guessing all the pressure from the residents changed Wayne's and the boards mind. A GOOD THING!



Are you still working on the petition to recall these board members?

The Insurance issue and the recall issue are BIG ISSUES that need to be followed thru on.

I know you have supporters and followers in every building and someone in every building will get your petition signed.

Anasazi needs a Beautification Project to take place!

I suggest we have a community work party to replace all the dead plants in front of the buildings and the Cactus Garden. The lawns are in terrible shape, the Cactus Garden needs immediate attention and some buildings have plants that have died and been removed but not replaced. Water is still running, but no plants, just watering the dirt.

You hate to keep repeating yourself, but this property was BEAUTIFUL when Rossmar and Marianne were here. Frannie was always planting colorful flowers, the lawns were green all year around, the trees were trimmed every year and the buildings were always clean with Sindy and Jake cleaning the buildings everyday. They were working on the property everyday. We do not have that now!

How do we get this Management Company and Wayne to do as good a job as Rossmar and Marianne did when they do not see or do not care how our property has deteriated since AAM and Wayne showed up!

WEBMASTER NOTE
I agree that the property needs some help and we need to watch new landscape company very close,BUT We need to give them a month to see if we start to see a change On Friday I saw the new landscaper cut off a sprinkler head and called Wayne in office to let him know.
(Now the landscape guy wasn't  too smart he just stepped on it to make it look fixed.)
WAYNE you need to weed these workers out fast !
Yesterday morning I look out and behold Wayne, Pete and Dan all putting in new drain where I called about...Pretty Damn Fast ..I Have to say !!  Check Pics   and YES That is Wayne with a shovel also.....
 Unnecessary work because lack of skill caused by landscape guy not watching..But it happened and its being fixed..And Wayne's crew jumped on it immediately after Roe was walking grounds and got stuck in quick sand...(AAM Should get you some new shoes Roe..lol)  But it showed a great team effort...Starting with Roe then to Wayne and then fixing












So lets see what grounds look like in a month after new 
company has worked on it.. If it is still sub par at that time 
you ALL know I will be on their butts..
Your Eyes Will Be The Judge !!

RULES AT ANASAZI ?? NONE !!

So again The Hotel is open..Check these pictures out of a Mother and 5 kids at pool. TODAY!


1st off where is Owner that is supposed to accompany guests to pool ???


2nd Problem One of the children about 2 yrs old jumping off water falls 


3rd Problem is all other kids were also jumping ??


WORST PART  See Pics Below!!  MOTHER WAS TOO BUSY TALKING ON PHONE TO PAY ATTENTION!!

And The Board Told me they were not worried about Lawsuits with Visitors


WHERE ARE THE RESIDENTS THAT MUST ACCOMPANY GUESTS ??  THAT'S RIGHT WE HAVE NO RULES HERE!!


And you know this family is not here for a Month ??  Cmon ??


And this is during hours office staff is here

5  KIDS DEMANDS YOUR ATTENTION

Must Be Addressed

I have talked with a few residents this week and all agree !!


What most of you residents are not aware of is that when all our winter friends leave.


This place at times becomes a hotel


Now the reason I bring it up is when the winter months are here we all have our group and we recognize most at pools!!


AND Most of you would be very nervous with so many short term people on property while you are away....Or who's peering in your Patio ?  lol


Now once June gets here us remaining residents see a NEVER  ending stream of Verry short termers here..Many just here for the weekend, This may seem minor to those of you who are back home..BUT If this problem was here when you were trying to enjoy pool..You would be unhappy also, Also treat the property here poorly, They rented a weekend away..Only worried about the weekend ??


Just to many strangers ..Kinda takes away community feeling


I know we have tried to address this in past..But last couple weeks has been crazy..Talked with 3 couples in 2 days all here 1 week or less ??


The BIGGEST problem to all of this is  ???


OUR BOARD IS NOT HERE TO SEE It, Address It, OR CARE About It


So us full time residents get SCREWED again  ??


We have to wait till they come back to bring it up and then they will consider it till next June

As of late many have gotten on a old bandwagon here with office !!  I have to stand up for office at this stage of the game.. First off Wayne has come a long way from early days here, (And yes I was tough on office in start and will continue when needed).  


But I have stated before that any dealings I have had with Wayne over the last few months were all done with respect and knowledge, He has even turned into one of the waviest guys here...YES we got him to wave and smile a lot...(Ok enough teasin) But he does !!  ...And as well as Roe..She also has jumped in with both feet..Both have responded to calls and questions on problems here or questions I receive on website. And have been fair and honest to this point.


Now  I still am not sold on AAM  The Company as of yet by any means!!


This is no reflection on the aptitude of Wayne or Roe.. But Think we have to give Wayne and Roe some room to work with out some of the minor complaints that  really are minor..They still have a protocol to keep their bosses happy at AAM, But believe they are truly working hard to keep this place t in order..


Some Suggestions for Resident's :


HALLWAYS


Everyday I vacuum  my house..Just take an extra minute to touch up outside the door ??I Do...
Cleaning people cant help wind blowing 2 days after cleaning..Cmon people a little effort on your part


POOL
When you leave pick up after your self..Fix your chairs..That simple


BBQ
AGAIN Clean up after your self


One BIG PROBLEM OF LATE !!!


THE 2-3 PEOPLE WHO WALK THEIR DOGS WITH NO LEASH


I see a guy every day with 2 dogs and they just run everywhere all over everyone's patios etc
between buildings 13-5


Owners need to be responsible for renting to owners with pets
Which is another short term lease problem addressed later today here

Whats With This Insurance Vote?


So what we need to know is what in DETAIL this new insurance rider they {The HOA Board} is trying to pass without a lot of info being provided !!


Now the thing that raised a Red Flag when it had started to be discussed at Board Meeting was the way Robert Burchmore seemed to avoid questions about it,


The second Red Flag was when he proposed that even tho they had sent a ballot out earlier last year and did not get a response !  That they were just going to send NEW Ballott to those that did not answer at that time and Add them to this vote ??????


Is he Crazy ???  Thats like taking votes from 2011election and adding then to 2012 election lol


I think the Board is trying to sneak one past us residents


This new clause as I was told means WE THE RESIDENTS will now cover inside the walls also with our insurance !!!  When asked if this would raise our insurance ?? Robert Burchmore insisted NO !!  But others who have checked say YES!!


I believe they know that the plumbing problem is getting worse and they are looking for a way to push off costs !!   AND maybe get out Insurance Salesman Board President a little more Business ??


DO NOT VOTE TILL YOU KNOW THE DETAILS!!


The Board said they were sending details over a month ago...NOTHING YET !! BEWARE
