As many of you know I spend much of my time with the MISS Foundation, http://missfoundation.org/   who deal with parents that have lost a child,

BOARD MEETING Thursday ..5/3/2012!!

Another 25 Parking violation last nite    If we all parked in the right spots, Very simply we would know who does not belong here or who might be short term, THIS is one of the main reasons that the ticket issue was sanctioned by Board


Enough about relationships with other owners, until we find out who belongs here, UNTILwe weed out the bad ones BUT HOA RULES SAY THERE ARE NO DEALS ON PARKING  YOU PARK IN YOUR ASSIGNED SPACE PERIOD


Manfred ?/ Have printed your letter here in the comments...but it made no sense at all, There is nothing in CC&R'S to warrant lending away or renting your parking space;   ...Thanks for the note tho !!  ,,You seemed to have missed the meeting and the point! and have always respected your letters and opinions, But honestly believe you are missing the point for this short term crusade to just get some things aligned here.So we can get a better grip on temporary residents and yes it is at a minimum now, But a  great time to get things started, followed by a note to owners that this practice is not allowed

Friday Nite Get Together

JUST A THOUGHT !!
If you have noticed that the Friday Nite Get Together has gotten as stale as a old box of cookies!


Now it is a great thing to have, BUT ..How about one friday a month we liven things up a bit with a maybe a special nite a month like 50's nite 60's nite or Disco 70's, We all like that walk back in time every now and then and think it would bring more residents


More Residents mean Better Community and also a place to know some of the great folks here at Anasazi


I would be willing to organize that one nite a month, ...Music Snacks and you all BYOB  , Maybe dress the part???       C'mon and let me know your thoughts

The "MEET & GREET" with our Phoenix Police Officers / Block Watch Meeting must be a seperate get together scheduled from 7PM till 8:30PM on a week night.



We want all residents to attend the "Meet & Greet" and get to know our Phoenix Police Security Team.
Open Forum, all questions welcome and "NOT" controlled by the Board or Wayne! This must be made clear at Thursday meeting.

Thanks goes out to the gentleman and his wife in Bldg #11 that has for the last 4 years put together the Memorial Day and 4th of July cook out at the Clubhouse for all residents to attend. Sometimes we can be successful even with all the barricades and barriers the Board and this Management Team put in our way.

That is why you and the above couple are called Leaders. Some how they find a way to make things happen with success. Followers will always be followers!!!!!

Update's & Thank You's

Anonymous Parking Violation Update

Last nite I began our crusade to 

stop Parking Violators and started issuing Tickets



Started with Building 15 & 16 and wrote 21 Violations

These were mostly parking in the wrong spaces

 and a few with No Stckers at all (short term ?)

Not Much More Needs To Be Said !  Proof in the Pudding .  lol

I will have made all buildings by Board Meeting Thursday

Just received stating another Board Meeting scheduled for next Thursday May 3 at 3:30PM.

Can you suggest they change time to 6PM so many more can attend?

When you see the agenda you will realize that you are having a positive influence on this NO ACTION BOARD!

Looks like you are forcing them into action. Keep the heat on them every minute of every day till some of this Paralysis by Analysis goes away!

ARE OUR POLICE OFFICERS GOING TO BE AT THE BLOCK WATCH TOWN MEETING?

Or is this another get the info and reschedule Police Meet & Greet.

Thank you, but if we all work together we can get results, I am also hoping that Block Watch Meeting will include our Officers
The main reason the Residents asked me to organize is they want to Meet the Officers here on duty..NOT some stuffed shirt from downtown, So they feel they know who is protecting them and to feel more like a community So Yes We want our Security Staff
Miss the days of Board having BBQ Parties and 4th of July parties , we used to have so many activities here
BUT Why care about activities... if the  Board does not live here..Our Board President Lives in a Different Community here in Az   ?? Hmmmm
So many positive changes that could be made here to turn this back from a Condo Park to the Community called ANASAZI..

PARKING VIOLATIONS / WARNING

Well here we are, After Residents asked about all illegal parking here and also having someone watch for short term renters here, Izzy  Told me !  Why dont you volunteer to ticket the cars?  So I did and starting tonite this is a warning as we will turn tickets to office for violators. Also will help find short term renters not registering in office, Plus we could use the revenue to fix some things here

SO IF YOU ARE PARKED IN WRONG SPACE..YOU WILL BE TICKETED AND FINED

We are working on community involvement, So just do your part  Thanks again Webmaster

Stopped in to Roes office today and she already had everything together for me, We also sat and had a long chat!!  (A Very Nice Chat) And I did agree I was a bit rough on her in the beginning here, But also stated that many things were of concern at that time,

BUT I must honestly say that for many months now, I believe she has picked up her game and has been not only helpful and professional in all endeavors I have had to deal with her, I also believe that she could be a great face for people to meet when they come here, She has a great smile and seems to have the personality to go with it......Thanks again Roe......

AND Sorry for all the complainers that are going to come in and ask why they cant park in the wrong spot !!

FYI 




The mother duck took her babies Yesterday (Thurs) over to the gulf area. 
Saw her with my own two eyes. I'm sure she would have stayed longer(like she always did other years)But the morons that live her just could not mind their own p's and q's and had to go an bother them. 
These people here a worse then little kids that don't know any better, they just can't leave well enough alone. Now the babies will have a slim chance out there, at least here they would have had a better chance. 
Thank you to the idiot lady and man who just couldn't leave them alone. And for people starting rumors, find out the facts before you start opening your big mouths.

1st off the ducks are a health hazard and they do not belong in our pools, 
Second thing is, If  you had showed up at meeting, You might have learned that this was an issue being worked on, But as usual another QUACK that just writes and doesnt sign there name!!    Maybe you should fly east and mother the ducks

Maybe Izzy is resigning after his unacceptable behavior at last Monday's meeting. 
Bob and Izzy both should resign after both of their bad behaviors at the last 2 board meetings.

and you do deserve the title of Mr President. 
On a lighter note, Momma Duck had 10 Chicks yesterday morning, she had a nest at Pool # 1 north end, however, the Pool Inspectors and our maintenance men was inspecting the Pool # 1, and after they were done, the nest was gone. Momma Duck took her chicks for a swim at the South end, 4 couldn't get out, a lady trying to be helpful, took the rug on the North end someone had put there for the chicks, and when she attempted to put the rug on the South end, they jumped into the pool and headed to the north end, had to nicely ask her to put the rug back, she did, but too late, they came back south. 
All got out of the water, she covered them all up with her wings and body to get them warm, and after I finally left the patio at around 8:00 PM they were still there. Around 9:00, I saw someone walking towards them and don't know what happened after that. Just a FYI

Just thought after all the conversation at Board Meeting When I asked About short term renters, They all stated Michael Blau's name and said they AAM & Board can not reach him, And in less than 24 hours I addressed the problem and found a solution !!

Why does everything our Board does take minimum 45 days to run for advisement,Same story when we asked for a simple Block watch meeting


I hope if they are having another board meeting it will be at a time all residents can attend??   Maybe they finally figured out to appoint me to the board.  I seem to get results and get them FAST !!


IF NOT??  I will be there to represent you..And you know I will be Heard ,  Thanks again to many many readers this week.  


Wonder if anyone in office called the Ad I supplied about short term rental??


Bet $$$$$    They Didn't

Why isn't the board and Wayne (Management Team) aggressively
doing what you are doing? The management team and the board should be writing to us and telling us that they spoke with

Mr. Blau should be following our CC&R'S requirements on rental properties, not AAM'S suggestions.

Mr. Webmaster and fellow owners. Here is how Paralysis 

by Analysis works here at Anasazi:


At Mondays board meeting the board was asked if it was ok with them if the residents had a "Meet & Greet" with our fabulous Phoenix Police Officers.

Board ssid it would look at the request and put it on the agenda for the next board meeting. 2 to 3 months away.

At the next board meeting the board will say they have looked at the request for Meet & Greet and will ask for volunteers to form a committee to put a meeting together. Dates, Who will attend, what will be discussed. Bob the president will ask the committee to get their results and recommendations back to the Board in 45 days! And then ask the question is that enough time for you to do the charged assignment? Another 45 day delay.

Committee gets back to Board with recommendations. At the next board meeting Bob thanks the committee working on Meet & Greet for doing such a through job. Bob then says the Board needs time to look at their recommendation and will put it on the agenda for the next Board Meeting. Another 2 to 3 month delay.

This is how it works here. 3 board meetings later and still no approval for a simple Meet & Greet that could have been approved at Monday's meeting.

The above is what is wrong with this board and why Anasazi has lost it's luster. Not 1 A-Type personality on this board. Not one take charge person full of excitement to get this going as a community. If you ask the 5 board members what a A-Type personality is, 4 of the 5 will probably tell you it is their blood type.

When the average age of the board is 80 years old, you get 80 year old thinking.

This will be the last post from this owner. I cannot get headaches over things I personally cannot control!

Nothing here at Anasazi will change till we change this ancient, 50's thinking board.

Paralysis thru Analysis is alive and well here at Anasazi.

Received A Phone Call Today...From Michael Blau !

This morning Michael Blau called my office and wanted to discuss the posts about him here at Anasazi!

I explained to Me Blau about the problems here at Anasazi as of late with short term renters, I expressed all the concerns about this subject with him at great length. He was very understanding and expressed very much concern as not to add to this problem.

Mr Blau was also very honest and said there were some short term renters that had slipped thru in the past and he has enacted some new policies that will keep this from occurring again. (Yes he knows that we all will be watching and he does not want to appear on any more wanted posters lol)

But Mr Blau assured me this will not happen again and he has been following AAM  and providing the required leases as per AAM Management.

Mr Blau also wanted me to address the owners here in a open letter, addressing he has been working with Anasazi for 20 years and has always taken great care in who he leases to, He also explained many of his renters are people that have been coming for a 1-3 month stay here at Anasazi for many years,and wants to assure the residents here that he will do all in his powers to avoid this situation of short term renters WILL NOT COME FROM HIM.

He gave me his word and I appreciated that he took the time to call and address this issue

Great that someone comes forth with a answer, unlike our Board

I also explained to Mr Blau that over a half dozen of my friends in Chicago that own here and use Mr Blau, and I will have access to there records of his rentals. Mr Blau and I laughed a bit as he had no idea my friends were using him, But all in all as stated we spoke at great length and he also realized this site was the place to address residents..(See the world is watching)

So in ending He strongly asked me too give you his word that he will keep his promise and make sure he has NO short term rentals.     Mr Blau I believe was very sincere and his actions from this point will tell the tale.

Mr. Webmaster. After attending Monday's meeting two very important processes were confirmed.

1. This board is a Micro-Manager
2. Micro-Management leads to
"Paralysis thru Analysis"

First example: This board cannot even give the go ahead with a community function (Police Meet and Greet) without hearings and meeting that delay action!

Second example: The removal of dead Pine Trees. If the board had faith and confidence in Wayne, they would let Wayne do his job. They don't thus paralysis thru analysis.

Third example: Board micro-manages Wayne and Roe because they do not naturally have the skill sets to do their individual job descriptions. Wayne is a Maintainence Man not a Community Manager (Dan's Position) and Roe should be handing out Bowling Shoes at some Bowling Alley, no Customer Service Skills.

You and I know how much productivity is lost when a week person, company or board is intimadated by younger more talented people doing a good job ie: Rossman and Marianne.

Paralysis thru Analysis is what we have here at Anasazi. This is why nothing relavent is getting done here. If we study it long enough and we discuss it long enough (NOTHING GETS DONE) We need people of action not people of committee...

Police presence on the weekend (Sat & Sun) during the day and night...AMEN! Thank You Janet!



Comment on glass in pools. It is not right (Notice I did not use the term Fair) that the full time residents are locked out of the pools when short term visitors (3 days) are causing the problems. It is also not the full time residents job to police the pools, and clean up after families and individuals that do not care how they leave thing since they are only here for long weekend. If management is going to lock down 1 pool then lock down all pools for the week. See how long full time residents will put up with that.
What are the dates for Janet's Field Trips to visit the 9 Pine Trees on the short list? Like to be part of that Field Trip.
I still have a bad feeling that Wayne and this board are anti Police and working to get rid of our Officers! When not one of the board members will say they are pro police and want the police presence here...not a good sign!

The ducks are cleaner than the short term renters are. Leave the ducks alone. I don't hear anyone wanting to catch, harass the short term renters.
