Fountains Broke Again

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "AAM District Manager / Wind Bag":

I having a real issue with this management group. They seem to not like the fountains at Pool # 1. First they were having them turn off at 8:00 PM because the residents said they were too loud at night.
After I complained to Wayne, he agreed to leave them on until 9:00. Wow.

Then just this past weekend, they were all off, contacted the office, no one answered,

then received a call from Rose who stated they were having electrical problems and wouldn't be on during the weekend. Also received an email from Wayne, who also stated that someone was going to work on them Monday.

Electrical problems, yet the lights were on as well as the Jacuzzi worked. Hmmm. I guess Pool # 3 had the same problems as the fountain wasn't on either. My suggestion, leave them alone!!

All weekend we heard dogs barking all day, people arguing all evening, and of course, coyotes howling all night.

Positive Feedback...

Just a note that I have received many email's since Board Budget Meeting about how pleased everyone was by the Board's  decision to keep Phoenix Police as Security,... THANK YOU to the Board for this decision that so many had concerns over, The large amount of emails were mixed with many emails about how pleased with the Officers working here at Anasazi, They are very professional yet very courteous one email mail states, Another that says they walk their dog and every corner seems to have our Security late at night (  she wondered if he was Superman)..So Hats Off  ANASAZI BOARD and PHOENIX POLICE SECURITY..The emails make it clear that many many folks feel much securer now.  ..........And glad the Board heard and addressed this concern ..  Thank You

More Budget Feedback

 Oct 23 (1 day ago)
I AM ALSO OUTRAGED THAT THE BOARD ALLOWED AAM TO FACTOR THEIR EMPLOYEES CHRISTMAS BONUSES IN THE COST OF THEIR FEE..IT CERTAINLY CAN'T BE BASED ON THEIR MERIT..WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SAY ABOUT ROSSMAR THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF MANAGING OUR MONEY ALONG WITH IZZY FROMME WHEN HE WAS TREASURER..I DON'T FEEL THAT CONFIDENCE NOW..L HOPE WE WILL GET THE SAME GOOD SERVICE WE GOT WITH ROSSMAR BUT SO FAR HAVE SEEN NO INDICATION OF IT.

I was at the Board meeting on the 19th and watched our tired old board ruber stamp everything into place. They were not even outraged that AAM built in for its employees a holiday bonus. Here we re watching our neighbors struggle to keep their homes. Wouln't it be nic if they took that bonus to help some of them?? Also, do we really need someone in that office 5 days a week, 8 hours a day?? To do what??? Count the cracks in the wall?? She was watching a video on her laptop when I went in the other day. We only need her maybe two days a week from 2 - 6pm. Not 40 hours. Please help me surp this Board and get new blood into Anasazi's community
Thanks for listening - Christina

I also am a bit disappointed by District Manger for  AAM
Who gave presentation with all the graphs the other nite at meeting..

SHE was very positive that if we wanted we can call her or take tour of their office etc  etc etc
I sent her 2 emails 2 weeks ago and never heard back and after fiasco with room rental the other day I received email from Roe saying to contact Janice Martinez District Manager about issue  and we  called...left message..

.BUT AGAIN NO ANSWER   So why are we paying them more money than Rossmar ....Good Question  !!

Budget Meeting Notes

After attending budget meeting last nite I was asked by some residents to clarify some of budget that was discerning..These are facts and not rumors..I do have to say some of things explained by board members helped clear some issues up,

Such as HOA Fee's will not rise this year and security will remain the same

Also explaining the need for chiller replacement which was explained very well by board member Brian Mcbride which was very sensible and understandable..So thank you Brian I believe all also now  realize this is an important replacement needed and Board is on top of it...He also explained many of the projects that are planned and needed with a good plan that was presented by Board....and put it in layman's terms very well!!

Some issues of concern !!! (Management Company)

1. We pay the 2 people that clean the halls and buildings $71,940  that comes out to $691.73 each employee a week.......

2. The report says we pay for the salaries of 2 office people Wayne & Roe and there 3 workers a total yearly salary of $197,760  Which if you look in budget it really is including benefits 253,128  and if you add Management fee of $56,400 to this  the total we pay for management is a WHOPPING  $309,528  ...It is displayed  in budget to make you do your homework on true amount..

Even Our Management company explained they cost about 35% more than Rossmar Graham did  BUT WORTH IT??  Time will tell..DO BELIEVE THEY NEED SOME TIME BEFORE THAT CAN BE DETERMINED

There were some good points made about issues of things here needing to be replaced appeared we did agree with many of the Boards actions and have to commend them on time spent putting budget together, OVER 20 hours each board member put in last week to get us a decent budget with the economic times all are having  So a Thank You for this work of which is UNPAID..

Just seems like New Management Company is in to BIG a hurry to make money on us, We used to have  one lady in the office and 5 groundskeepers who did a GREAT job,

NOW we have
a private company to clean halls,  2 people
1 private sprinkler tech for watering,
  3 Anasazi ground crew members,
 2 Office Staff ,
A  Private Landscaping company that costs us almost $240,00 a year alone,
AND a private pool and maintenance service..

9 PEOPLE PLUS LANDSCAPE CREW

Seems like an army of people to do the job that 6 did for many years and did it well So this is an issue that should be addressed with greater concerns and I look to hear from all of you on it...In an appropriate manner

Thanks  Webmaster

Hmmmm Mistake??

Well I have to say in writing this I am more than disgusted, Over a Month ago we went into Roe at office and booked the room for a 80th birthday for my Fiances Father, Was instructed to bring Rental room checks 7 days before and we were all set!!!  also posted here on website events that day!
Now I had a feeling with the negative feeling of this website .

.Sooo on a hunch we went to bring checks to office and miraculously there was no record of us and room !!  SURPRISE  NOT AT ALL, So after inviting 30 people we now have no room..

I did call Roe and let her know my feelings without a doubt and as usual she was her usual self  Undignified...

THIS IS ONLY MORE PROOF THAT WE NEED CHANGES AS WE DISCUSSED IN PRIVATE MEETING

I DO LOOK FORWARD TO COMMENTS.....This is the retribution for speaking out here ..NO IT ISNT

I GUARANTEE IT      !!!

Wish I could blame this all on incompetence  ..BUT also believe it was done with malice...Said I would keep site somewhat dignified but this has to be an exception......................

AND PARTY WAS ALSO POSTED HERE ON COMMUNITY PAGE OVER 3 WEEKS AGO

Have to switch to Nov 5th, Resend invitations! Arrangements for out of towners, Etc
_________________________________________________________________

PS  AFTER POSTING ARTICLE Wayne apologized for mix up

But Roes Incompetence still cost us a headache, as we had two old friends coming from Boston on Sunday that will miss party due to this incident being switched.Resend invitations! Change food, Etc

Also Board made recommendations last night saying there has been more than one mistake as of late in reserving rooms and is acting on changes now so this does not happen again.... So thank you Board for the response

Speed Limit

Hello as you can notice the last few days of posts have been centered around the things we as residents can do as part of the community
.
Which brings us to the speed limit here in side complex. It is posted as 9mph and to be very honest I have seen some of you flying thru here going to the back buildings.5-12 .
There are many people out and at that speed..some of you around 25-30   Please slow down  ...

Thank you for reading my last few days of posts of things we can do ourselves to keep community the place we call home.It seems like many questions were answered at meeting or we all felt many of the same concerns.Comments have been quiet here which if nothing else..shows the  meeting was a great idea as we got some things off our chest, I am hoping to see all of you who had budget questions at Board meeting on Wed Oct 19th...Participation is the key  Thanks Mike

Pet Owners...Puh Leeeeze / Webmaster Note

As a Pet Owner Myself,      I urge all other pet owners to get on board!!! .....It is getting very ridicules that so many pet owners are NOT PICKING UP after their pets,

I see many of you walking dogs and some of you never carry a bag, and have received quite a few mails on this subject

C'mon now as a duty to being a pet owner you should be responsible for your pet, Also as of late their are a few of you who do not use a leash!!

Does not matter the size of your dog.  IT NEEDS TO BE ON A LEASH! So we can all we respectful of those who have no pets and don't want to have to watch where they walk.

We dont want to have to catch you with a video to embarrass you for leaving your poo!  lol

Thanks I'm sure many of you also feel this way,

Remember if you see it ask politely why not. .................Thanks Webmaster

After so many earlier comments .............some of the things posted the last couple days are all things We as residents can do to help pitch in to our community's well being

Can't Help But Notice

Hello and welcome to our winter visitors, I have been noticing here at pool 3 all week rules not being followed...Normally .. ALL full time residents clean up after themselves after using pool, Throwing empty bottles away and fixing pool furniture for next users  ..Etc

Now it seems we have lots of new faces at pool and have had a large number of people in pool with drinks and food poolside also glass wine glasses, and even one guy swimming in blue jeans and shirt??  RESIDENTS if you see this please ask politely and explain pool rules to new comers..Winter visitors we enjoy your stay with us but your

Condo does not include a pool boy or maid to clean up after you, One broken glass at pool and the pool closes, also many of you visitors leave small children in jacuzzi unattended, The jacuzzi is not meant for children in the first place..So please help us keep our community safe and hoping you enjoy your stay with us...
OWNERS Please leave rule sheet for your renters to read

Meeting Feedback

Hi Michael
I enjoyed the meeting in general and would love to see the involvement and interest of a larger cross section, demographics so to speak, of our community.  Having participated in and looking at the pictures you posted the meeting does have some resemblance with "town hall" meetings held by our politicians, Washingtonians or otherwise.  There has got to be another generation of people in our community that share many of our views, maybe having additional issues that did not surface, and as one may expect,  this other generation is internet/PC/Mac literate.  I am always looking forward to meet such people within our community but have yet to discover any of them.  I hope you'll receive positive feedback responses from many and that we may have more of these "what's on your mind" exchanges.

Thank You...Huge Turn Out To Residents Meeting

Hello and I want to thank all of you that took the time to attend this important meeting of our concerns,It was a great showing of about 60 residents and lasted till 930pm. So let me do a recap of the evening and also some new rules here on website.

As expected we had a variety of opinions but believe we all ended on the same conclusion, and that is there are some issues we are all concerned with and we did a great job last nite hashing out the truths and rumors

The meeting started a bit rough but once most realized they shared the same concerns generally it seemed to slip into a smooth gear... I was very impressed by the amount of knowledge at the meeting. Which only goes to show we have a great community here with a large majority of residents that are very knowledgeable,

We learned that HOA Fees are not going up BUT actually the Board has been working to reduce our HOA fees to under $300 a month.

One of the biggest issues last nite was the amount of owners here that are renting units for less than the required 3 month minimum,

The next Issue was about us keeping Police Security here
and the 3rd issue was about the double salaries in the office,

So we have a list of a couple other smaller issues, such as the cleaning of buildings and other related subjects.

Also a large group of us also believe we need to give Wayne a sporting chance here to get property back on track and we should support him till he may prove otherwise!

All though there was a large discussion on Roes lack of customer service skills and many of you said you just have to get on her good side, I dont agree with it,  that its your job and we should not have to tip toe in to see her.So cmon Roe put that smile on! You have a great smile..Just need to use it more..

But the meeting did offer a great forum for discussion and many have thanked me for website as a great place of knowledge for us all to use. So with that being said we have a list that will be given to the board!! AND WE SHOULD ALL HOLD COMMENT on board until they are given a chance to address these issues.

If they do not then we all discussed it will be time to start replacing them,,BUT THEY DO DESERVE THE TIME TO ADDRESS OUR CONCERNS..

As for this website  it will continue as planned with some modifications, If you are going to comment !!  You will need to say who you are or it will not be published here. If you have something to say  OWN IT and sign your name, This will eliminate a website tainted with a few who want to complain but never go to meetings and not address the issue..There also will be no profanity or vulgar name calling. If you have a complaint or beef SEND IT but do it with some class!!  YOUR POINT CAN BE MADE WITHOUT BEING VULGAR..

Now do not think that this will not always be  somewhat of a controversial website to some.Yes it will  and I will continue to let it flourish in an open forum as long as its done with some dignity...I appreciate all that talked with me and thanked me and also offered their opinions to help me in my day to day publications here.

We set out to make a voice here and you all made it happen,

I look forward to seeing all of you at budget meeting where you will have some more questions answered...

But remember  we can have these meetings more often and they can be helpful to all residents,

A few of you including myself last night  expressed an interest in running for the Board also, This will be a great place for you to provide your forum and I will add a special page here for those that may want to use it in the future..

So with that all being said I believe this meeting was very constructive, we dispelled some rumors and also found there are issues we all agreed on..

Thanks to Diane who also took a large amount of notes home to Husband Bryan who is a Board Member....

The future is in our hands and if we do it right and all get on same page We can have the community we all moved here for..Many of you seemed satisfied and some maybe not..

BUT THIS WAS A GREAT 1ST STEP AND CONSIDERING THE TURNOUT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA OVERALL TO MEET...
We should all meet next month just to discuss response from board!!!.

I will look forward to hearing from all of you and again Thank You for Enjoying this Website     Michael
