Comment from Webmaster

After this note from me I will post at bottom the comments received on Management Report Card !!

BUR FIRST Lets get a few things straight!

Many months ago when the new company took over and there were many concerns, You all looked to this website for information and insight. We then showed that by myself

I was able to organize one of the largest resident meetings in many years.

To which you all came and expressed your concerns and we pushed till we did get results, Then we realized that the biggest problem plaguing us is our Board of Directors. So many of you again wrote and complained again and again.

NOW the real issue is this community lacks anyone with any initiative to do more than just complain, To all of the regular group of moaners here its time to stop talking unless you plan on taking action!!  Enough Crying and doing nothing!!

If I as one person has brought about this much change and coordination here JUST think if we truly put together a group of concerned residents??  There is nothing we cannot all accomplish together, I have talked a with a large number of folks lately who have these same concerns and are ready to start organizing a real committee here to get things on path with all areas of Anasazi. We have many many new willing and very able Owners that have expressed interest !1

We ALL know the major problem here is the Board that has NO BALLS PERIOD.. Even after all the defending of Brian I realize his also must be in a drawer some where.

.Bottom Line we need a fresh start of the Board here...AND WE HAVE THE TALENT AVAILABLE !!

We just need some hard working folks to step up and take the reigns!!

We have volunteers at this time working to get walkway bricks to their own buildings..and residents are responding well, Hats of to Paul and Robert in my building...This is done solely out of being owners who care

I know longer want to hear from the 5-6 that just lay around all day and think about bad comments and never show at a meeting or offer to help..Find a new Hobby !!

It is apparent after last Board Meeting with 25 people representing 600 owners, people turned away at Board Voting etc..You and your property are being controlled and you have no say in it

So hoping this will get some of you off your butts and start to become o positive member of the community..We have enough Stagnant here already.

This is an issue that may not have as speedy a remedy as we all would like, But if we really start to work together , the next elections could show us some new leadership if all band together for same cause   Keeping our community Beautiful and home values up !

In my report card some of you did not agree and those are the few that are never happy

I was one of the most outspoken of Wayne and Roe in Beginning..AND have also watched then grow into their positions here and validate the scores I gave then on my post,And will call any negatives I see here in future, As stated in the very beginning of this Blog 4 years ago..I Call it like I see it and there has been much improvement in our office and I have witnessed it 1st hand on more than one occasion

If the proper Board was watching, Residents could spend more time enjoying here rather than worrying what is next !

Ok Time for your comments of last week

Does anyone ever check parking spaces here anymore!!    We have people in all buildings parking in other spots and causing bedlam, We used to have tickets put on cars, I notice that all the poles have a towing company name I  think we as residents start having cars towed that are in others place maybe this will wake them up

Note from Webmaster: We have same problem in Building 5 and I have spoke with Officer on duty  about  towing of a list of cars we have compiled this last week from residents/

..Avoid the Tow !!   Park in YOUR Space..

Must say I would have loved to have had you giving me my grades thru High School and College!

What standards are you using?

Here are my unbiased grades for this team:

Wayne C-
Roe F (Flunking everything that
her position requires)
Dan B+
Pete B
Board F
AAM F
Residents participation F

*** Dan and Pete could do better
but their hands are tied by
Wayne.

This old saying applies to all home owners here at Anasazi:

"You get what you deserve" When a board meeting is taking place on important issues and only 25 residences are represented out of 600 this is how you get and have to keep a Wayne, Roe, AAM and a board that does not represent the owners but represent their individual interests!

Mr. Webmaster sounds like you have gone to the "Dark Side"
*********************************************************************************
I will own my comments but do not want my e-mail address shown.
As for Wayne i have had 2-3 encounters with him. Each time he responded in a timely professional manner and resolved my concerns.

Ro:  From the git-go had same response. She was very polite and helpful. I can only speak   for myself. As for the derogatory-insulting-ignorant remarks and name calling posting on the blog which appeared to be written by mean high school girls could it be what you put out is what you get in return?

Dan: I have known residents to have unsatisfactory, expensive jobs done  by him. He was arrogant and offered no adjustment when they had to have it done properly. I'm a long time resident and have never seen the knowledge you are claiming.

AAM:  I know nothing about the co. The contacts I had with them were similar to the others. As for budget etc. it's too early to judge. If you have concerns of mis-management you need to have an audit done instead of what's been happening here. It solves nothing.
Lastly, Izzy did a magnificent job for 10 or so yrs with our money and kept the board honest. Now, he is older and slower and does not deserve the treatment he is receiving. He should be rewarded for his good work. He had no problem saying no to the board unlike Brian
Those personal attacks and juvenile name calling should never have been posted..are those people culturally deprived?. Where are the adults in Anasazi?. you all voted the board in.You should have done what I did. Wrote NONE OF THE ABOVE. I know nothing of new board members but do agree they should be full time residents.
Liz.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!! Eliminating the owners from meeting by changing the times and dates is not a happenstance.....it is planned! How can you defend or keeping giving these amatures any more chances!

Has anyone else noticed how bad the Clubhouse has become since AAM and this do nothing management team has arrived?

Took friends from out of state to the lower clubroom on Saturday! Rat traps and Mice traps everywhere in plan sight of visitors. Food on the floors what a mess. Went upstairs to play pool and was embarrased with the condition of the furniture. Looks like someone has been sleeping, peeing, or having sex on the couches! Switch plates were broken or missing on the walls, wires showing everywhere. I would not sit down or have our friends sit on the furniture.

WHERE ARE ALL OF OUR DUES GOING? You would think that Wayne, Roe or someone would notice how tacky the Clubrooms are looking. ( I realize they do not live here and 3 of the Board Members do not live here either) so they do not see how bad things are. Just take money out of this place.

Spend some of "OUR MONEY" on new seating, paint, pictures and wall outlet covers!

I would sell and move out but my 1 BR unit is worth 65% less than I paid for it.

PLEASE MAKE THE CLUBHOUSE PRESENTABLE. It is the first thing visitors see when visiting residents.

Remember Woolworth's ??

Thought I would drop a little nostalgia in here from time to time...Enjoy??

1957 menu   and it was only in English

July 17, 1997: F. W. Woolworth Company closes. The first Woolworth store opened in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1879. Frank Winfield Woolworth began his chain with a $300 loan, about $9,750 in 2011 dollars. Woolworth’s was one of the original five-and-dime stores. The store sold discounted merchandise at fixed prices – usually five or ten cents. These prices were lower than other local merchants. The merchandise was set out for the customer to handle without aid from a sales clerk. Before this time, most merchandise was kept behind a counter and a clerk would gather your purchases together for you to buy.

Woolworth’s first attempt at marketing was made in Utica, New York in 1878. It failed. After the successful opening of the store in Pennsylvania, Woolworth brought his brother into the business. Frank and Charles worked together and opened more stores, often in partnership with outsiders. Sometimes, the brothers went into partnership with “friendly rivals” to maximize their combined purchasing power. The Woolworth brothers had a flagship store in Philadelphia.

The success of these stores was phenomenal. In 1910, Frank Woolworth commissioned the construction of the Woolworth Building in New York City. The building was completed in 1913 and was the tallest building in the world until 1930. Woolworth paid for the building in cash. This building served as the company’s headquarters until its demise. The building was sold by Woolworth Company’s successor, the Venator Group in 1998.

In 1924, the brothers were operating six different chains of stores in the US and Canada. Rather than continue in this manner, they brought all 596 stores together under one banner and incorporated the F. W. Woolworth Co. Eventually, the stores began to also include lunch counters after they proved to be successful in England. The concept of a low price store was copied by many but for many years, Woolworth held market share. The stores often stood as anchors stores in shopping centers and malls. These large stores drove many local merchants out of business.

In the 1960s, Woolworth’s became the victim of a new trend as even larger discount stores came into being. In 1962, Woolco was founded. This was the same year S.S. Kresge Company opened K-Mart, Dayton’s opened Target, and Sam Walton opened his first Wal-Mart. By its 100th anniversary in 1979 the Woolworth chain was the largest department store chain in the world. The competition became too much and sales dropped. In 1983 Woolco closed and by 1993, the entire company underwent a restructuring. On this date, Woolworth closed its remaining stores and changed its name to Venetor which then changed to Foot Locker, Inc. There are still Woolworth named stores outside the US.

Management Report Card

Well it has been about 6 months since most of the hoopla started here about our new management company and here is our report on the progress of staff and management company

Wayne * B+
Since AAM has put Wayne in charge here, I say he deserves a pat on the back and some praise for starting to get things really on track here, I have had to deal with him on a number of issues as of late and was treated very respectful and felt he had knowledge of what he was talking about.Their are still some very needed changes here but believe Wayne is on track to keep the property up to par with resources handed to him.I see his daily inspections of property and know he is trying to act on the most serious of problems first.. REMEMBER ..He is at the mercy of this backward Board we have here...So Wayne Thanks and keep up the positive momentum here at Anasazi

Roe * B-
Well we all know it was a rocky start here for Roe and in the beginning she used to rile my feathers also, But have to give credit where credit is due and have to say ,As of the last few months Roe has realty picked up her game, We all have to consider at times the circus she walked into here  lol..But as with Wayne I have had to deal with Roe on many occasions as of late and have really gotten to see the better side of her..And speaking with others they also agree she has calmed down a bit and seems to have a great attitude She handled a recent plumbing issue for me by running in heels to get help  ..Cant ask for much more !!..So thanks Roe...Know it will never be easy in  "that" office. One thing that can be improved in your office is that violations keep up to keep things here a better place, Maybe a walk around the grounds a couple times a week to see some of the  patios' , dog poop etc  But do commend you on performance as of late..Keep up the good work   .... Thank you

Dan * B+
Just not sure how many of you realize how much Dan's knowledge of the property really saves us a bunch of money, He is a great addition to have his knowledge and his familiar face keeps some of the good ole anasazi alive, We know how many times we stop the guy for some kind of fix it advice, He has always been respectful and hope we are smart enough to keep him here for a long time

Pete & Brandon B+
Both of these maintenance workers have worked in my home and both are very nice respectful guys, hoping this is the start of giving  Dan a great crew to train on issues here..Keep up the good work guys

AAM Management * D
Have to be honest still very unsure of AAM Corporate office, I still believe they have to much padding in the budget department, and still not sure of the people that work with Anasazi from there district office, Many times residents contacted Janice Martinez and never even a call back ..so many of residents I have talked with are also very unsure of them..I guess time will tell, ALSO If we had a Board that was on top of things they would have tighter reins on this management company

Anasazi Board * F
Well we all are aware of it and we all know we need drastic changes to this Board, and many don't know what to do ?/, We will be having a meeting in the future to get this problem under control at all lengths..A lot of the problems here that need fixing have to wait for this board and many blame office..But they are limited by what they can do also ..Its very simple people !!  We all know the time has come to replace the old clic here with some of the new blood here that are up on things of this era..With the right leadership here, We can all watch our property values start to rise again !!  If not watch for your HOA Fee's to skyrocket..You mark my words

Resident Mail Says Board Pathetic

Dear Mr. Webmaster. Yesterday's board meeting can be summarized in one word "PATHETIC"

This board, has figured out how to control the owners concerns and imput!

With only a 48 hour notice a meeting can be changed to any time and day of the week the board wants.

Watch out going forward. 6:30 meetings will now be held at 1:30 in the afternoon on Fridays???

RECAP: 30 people in the audience. Of the 30,5 were couples so 25 units were represented. 604 units / 25 represented = less than 5% of participation! Job well done board to control the attendance.

Bob the Board President chews out an owner for asking questions and making comments that make Bob look bad. Way to go Bob, great Leadership!

Not only is the board out of touch! The dimist bulbs on the property (Owners)are the ones attending these meetings.

OWNERS! Do not worry about what you cannot control (development of property across the street)

Our enemies are not across the street they are right here among us! Focus on what is happening within our walls ( That you control) not outside.

If this board decides to spent hundreds of thousands of dollars repairing waterfalls in pools #1 & #2 they are insane! Pool #1 has 3 waterfalls in the pool and 1 in the spa. Do not spend 1 dollar repairing the large waterfall that backs up to bldg #11.

Leave the phony rock structure that hides the equipment and take out the waterfall! Same for the spa waterfall. How many waterfalls does a pool need? ANSWER...NONE! Look at the money being spent to heat 4 pools. Educated guess $40,000 per month!

Come on. Heat 1 on each side of the property. 2 & 5 would work. Board members it is time to say no to some of these suggested expendures.
WHERE IS THE LEADERSHIP!

None visible on this board.

So Who is Acting ..And Who is Talking

Well have received many many calls and letters from residents who were turned away to vote on election nite
Many of you asking was this all a setup ??/

Or the many of you upset by the sudden board meeting change yesterday ?

Don't you think it is time ALL OF YOU who sit at pool or community center etc etc and talk about all the issues with our board here...That it is time to start taking action,

It may not all be done in a short period. BUT if we start to unite now we can get a Board that is sincerely working for the best of the community, I talk to many many of you during the week and we would have more than the amount of votes needed almost at this time to remove board before we even get letters to absentee owners

It has really gotten out of hand here and one of the worst problems id the short term renters that have turned this into a resort..While the rest of us try to keep it the upscale community ..Many of the problems here as of late all center on THE SAME PROBLEM   ..We have a Board that is useless...As stated before this is not a personal thing..This is Business

SO !!   TIME TO STAND UP AND STOP TALKING AND GET SOME ACTION

Enough of you calling for action and no one wants to act.............

I publish my name here...lets finally here from those of you that want change and have the nerve to sign your name here

You cant possibly be scared of retribution ??

Our Board are WIMPS    ...Period
All 5 need to be replaced...........

Another Move By Board of Dimwits

AS usual our Board of Dimwits is doing all it can to exclude you all from meetings

1st the Board meeting was scheduled for March 23 at 6pm, Which is normal time for meetings

BUT NOW they have switched it to Monday 12 @ 3:30 pm...Sure sounds like all those that work are screwed again on knowing whats going on here.....

The only people that are around at 3:30 are Janet, Izzy and Faye all waking from their afternoon naps, Maybe they will be able to stay awake at a 3:30 meeting???

Residents  Enough is Enough and we need to seriously start a move to eliminate this poor excuse we have for a Board,  The letters say it all here, The Board has no conception of the things going on here, Izzy sleeps, Janet thinks its 1975 and Faye is there to wipe their mouths   ...

.WAKE UP ....We are all being bamboozled here...Are you all gonna wait till to many changes are made to rules here before we all act upon the bulls**t happening here

Resident's Replies

I agree with you!!! Previous mentioned about the 2 older fellows who walk their cute litter white dogs,The dogs crap and they continue on their way. They don't care, they don't live here year round. As for the blind guy, Russian dude, at least he attempts to pick up the crap, but misses most of the time, also walks into brushes, etc. Kind of sad and funny. I think all areas need the signs that state
"Pick up after your dogs or be fined!!"

Anyway, keep up the good work Webmaster. Jay, Bldg 13

The time comes when threats and diplomacy have to end a "ACTION" is the next step. This goes for Mr. Obama and Iran and this Board taking action against Agents renting Condos for 3 days at a time, and the "VISITORS" running wild with their dogs howling all day (Locked Up) and taking dumps on the walkways and not picking it up! April 15th cannot come soon enough so these visitors can go home and thing will get back to normal.

Everyone talks about what is wrong since AAM took over, what needs to be done since AAM took over but there is no "Action" to change things!

WHERE is board member BRIAN? AWOL as usual! What do we the owners need to do (Legally or Otherwise) to get someone to take some kind of action in the above matters?

Hello, We  Can tell the visitors are here, Every morning at 6;30am we have two couples that come swim and wake us every morning as of late Yelling and making noise, (pool#3) The one lady has the voice of Polly The Bird Squeakiness  Then they make it hard for pool man every morning to work around them...Cmon so many classless people here as of late..AND A BOARD THAT DOES NOT CARE....Some of these renters saved a whole life to leave their trailer park for a weekend  and we allow weekend guests.........Just shows The WIMPS we have  as a Board running this circus...YES WIMPS AND SLUGS

Poop Pooop and More Poop

Well I think its time for all pet owners to take charge of their own animals, I am a Dog owner also

BUT it is really getting out of hand with the amount of pet owners not picking up after your dogs!!!   Have had so many emails as of late that it is ridiculous. Ms Joyce here in building 5 pulled me aside to show me 4 piles outside her front door that were present when she had company last week...DISGUSTING .

It is time for another round of violations??.....AND also how about some pet etiquette , Many of you see other people walking and expect them to go around you??

We have a couple dog owners on the list now that are not right about taking care outside, One is the Blind guy who cant even see if he is picking up poop, And the lady in building 16 with the 3 dogs who are always getting away and causing havoc with other dogs and is rude when it happens!!

So if you are a pet owner PLEASE pick up after your pet!!!     The rest of you need to start saying something when you see someone walking their dog and have no poop bag...Cmon  to be very blunt PICK UP YOUR SHIT !!    ...I have a new policy!!  If I see your dog poop and you leave it..I will redeliver to your front door...Any Questions  ????

As we are trying to get property in order here..There are things we can all do to help, We have things we can do also to help keep community up to par and it can start with small things like picking up poop or again CLEANING YOUR PATIO'S .Many of you are eager to complain but know one wants to be a solution.

Property values around us are starting to rise and at a higher rate than Anasazi !!   We as residents can all do our part to keep us in the running by doing resident care of property.. Now if we can get the small stuff figured out we can tackle the BIG problem !!!

GETTING A BOARD THAT TAKES CARE OF THE ISSUES PLAGUING US ...OF WHICH WE DO NOT HAVE AT THIS TIME...IN time we will resolve this issue also and get rid of the useless Board we have...Seems they are talking raising HOA again this year??

Think that would KILL the property value here some more?????      Think About It !!!   Only collectively can we make this change..As always I look forward to your reply....The amount of people reading here grows every week..Interest is here and Thank you

Pool Man

Well this is a pat on the back post today, Dont know how many of you pay attention to the nice guy that cleans our pools and pool area, Have been watching him and talked with him on several occasions, He does a GREAT job here and makes sure the pool areas are perfect every morning..SO make sure you give him a shout when you see him and let him know we appreciate his service!!!!!

Now if we can get some of the visitors to start cleaning up after themnselves the rest of us may enjoy the pool area also, Still have food and drink at pool and can see they are temporary visiitors  or people that are here renting for the week or weekend, We have 1 unit in building 5 that has rented to 3 different people in the last 2 weeks...WHO IS WATCHING THIS INFRACTION   ??    STAY TUNED

PS::  Received 5 emails about  THE PATIO IN BUILDING 16  ??   Full of cigar boxes , solo cups and yesterday 2 bags of poop sitting there for last 3 days....Time to send a VIOLATION !!   Dont u think    Disgusting and there are a few more rotten patios here..Cmon we could use all thses violations to help our budget and also clean up the community of the few Messy Ones here
