Thanks for The Email

Mr Webmaster
ANOTHER GREAT INFORRMATIVE LETTER FROM M.IBING...SORRY HE WILL  NOT BE A PERMANENT RESIDENT...WOULD TRULY BE AN ASSET TO ANASAZI..

WE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT THE SAME BOARD THAT HIRED AAM ALSO FIRED ROSSMAR WHO HAD ANASAZI LOOKING GOOD AND MANAGED WELL WITHOUT AN ADEQUATE REASON GIVEN TO RESIDENTS AS FAR AS I CAN SEE.
I HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT FOR 18 YRS. AND HAVE NEVER SEEN THE ACTIVITY THAT IS GOING ON AT THE POOLS AS WE HAVE NOW..I THINK WE NEED TO DEMAND MORE SECURITY FROM THE BOARD RELATING TO THIS MATTER.

Officer Mike Willie was busy last night (Sunday) with Gate Jumpers and Fence Jumpers, Jumpers off the Rocks into the pools and Pot Smokers in the bathrooms.

Good thing we still have the Police Protection at night. Of course when they see the Police they all run away!           Signed JDS Build 9

Mr Webmaster
I appreciate the soul searching effort you went through to arrive at the conclusion that was overdue for some time.

All the noise generated by the many brave "Anonymous" contributors has diverted the attention away from the focal point:  The performance, or lack thereof, by the HOA Board in general, and certain Board non contributing/participating members in particular.

Perusing the many commentaries on this subject made by "Anonymous" suggests that there may be a lack of understanding of an HOA Board in general, and in particular its make-up in terms of required and necessary qualifications and experiences of its members to make the Board functional to preserve and promote the community interests it represents.

Additionally, we must realize that the Board, or particular members for that matter, hired the management company, not the other way around.  As a consequence, issues related to the management company are Board issues, and the Board's duty is to deal with them.  The Board has the duty to represent the residents of the community that elected them, in good times and in bad times quite the same as the wedding vow goes.  We already have a dysfunctional US Congress and clearly do not need to mirror this in our community.

Getting to the point:  All of us, Board members included, would benefit from refreshing our understanding of what an HOA, the HOA Board Of Directors and its members are all about - qualifications, duties, and all other important attributes and functionality that comes with being on the infamous Board.

Attached are a mixture of relevant articles clipped from the few of many relevant and educational sources available on the Internet.  These sites, as are many other, provide general and specific information worth perusing.
