BOYCOTT TONIGHTS BOARD MEETING

MANY OF US HAVE DECIDED TO BOYCOTT THIS EVENINGS BOARD MEETING!


IT IS OVER STICKING US WITH THE PLUMBING BILLS AROUND HERE
OF WHICH NO ONE WANTS TO EXPLAIN, JUST THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PLUMBING PROBLEMS IN OUR UNITS


JANET IS DOING THE PRESENTATION    REALLY????


ANOTHER SCREW JOB BY THE BOARD AND AAM  


 I WOULD NOT FILL OUT ANY PLUMBING PAPERWORK IF I WERE YOU TILL YOU KNOW THE DETAILS IN FULL

I cannot and will not participate in tomorrow's plumbing BOD but will continue to work on the annotation of pictures that will help the residents to figure out what the meaning of the questions and statements made in the documents "supporting this meeting.  Reason is that I am just in the middle of a 4 week EKG monitor test and do not wish to screw it up because of potential emotional stress.  Just look at the miserable picture of mine to prove the point.

As a result of some good will communications with Wayne about 2-3 weeks ago while discussing the many plumbing issues the Anasazi property is experiencing, and proposals I made to him with well minded intentions for the rectification of these problems, there was little coming back except for 2 documents that, as he mentioned, are presently distributed, or planned to be distributed (he was vague as one would expect representing the BOD and AAM).  And it may just be tomorrow's meeting when these 2 documents will actually debut to the bewilderment of many meeting participants.

One is an old PDF document that goes back to the days of Rossmar, making a wild guess.  Aside a few grammar things here and there, it is also taxing most senior unit owners because, would you guess, they are not familiar with most of the plumbing terms, nor would know where to find or look for the items listed in the check list.  One should ask the BOD members to explain each and every item - without the help of Wayne, such that everybody understands that folks as old and geriatric as the BOD folks understand this.  Recognizing the problem I started to edit the PDF file but chose not to complete the process - people simply just would not understand.  As a consequence, I have edited the PDF file to point out errors, missing language and the many areas , most people have no clue of what particular items to look out for and check.

The other document is a Word file allegedly authored by Ms. J. Frintner attempting to help out wiz bang kids of the BOD with her wealth of Anasazi plumbing knowledge.  The most astonishing piece is the attempt to pictorially describe the location of the major water cut-off. Janet's entire documents is a cut and paste of stuff she has very little knowledge of - I grant her the term "very little".  I do know that Janet asked somebody to "fix" her document, well knowing that it is incomprehensible, similar as to what the the PDF file is.  And again, members of the board - Not Wayne,  as a measure of being the elected representatives of the common people assembled and living in this association,  to explain in their own words what all that weird stuff means.  You know the stuff and I know the stuff but we are not your everyday John Doe here.  All BOD members should state that their Property is compliant with the rules they try to promulgate.  I know of some properties owned by present BOD members that are not in compliance as of today - so why should other residents follow the rules if BOD members  do not.

We have to get Wayne out the process of answering questions for the Board.  There must be at least one BOD member that is knowledgeable about what the subject of any meeting, aside financials,  is all about, including the plumbing issues.


 If not the BOD must have an independent committee or other body that can independently and without prejudice assist the BOD determining whether the statements and requests made by the Property Management company are accurate and true.

What this Association needs, as a consequence of the BOD having to entirely depend and rely on  the commentary, judgment made by the property management company representative(s) is a committee made up of independent volunteers knowledgeable about the financial and mechanical  issues associated with a property of the nature of the Anasazi Village Condos.  


Without it the residents will be at great risk having to believe all arguments made by the BOD  generated or supported by the property management company.  Without it there are no checks or balances, the BOD rules at will.  The By-Laws have to change to define and put such a committee into life.  Without it, the BOD together with any Property Management Company has free reign, as they have it right now and presumable like it.

I'll continue working on the diting and ship them out tomorrow.  What we need is a projector and a screen to visualize to the senior residents what the BOD is talking about

I HAVE CHECKED AND WE ARE ABLE AS LONG AS WE DO NOT INTERFERE WITH TRAFFIC,,,AND ALSO MAY HAVE A NEWS CREWS INTERESTED IN COVERAGE

BOARD WONT REMOVE AAM ??   MAYBE WE TAKE IT IN OUR OWN HANDS
