Great Question from Resident !!

Mr. Webmaster. There are Leasing Agents / Realtors on and off this property that rent units for as little as 3 days / 1 week. These Agents should immediately be stopped from renting units and using Anasazi as there private "PIGGY BANK"

I am sure every year around resident can tell you about many very short term rentals in their buildings and who the rental agents are! Many people in Building #8 and #9 have made comments that it feels they are living in a Hotel / Motel enviroment instead of a Community.

Who polices these agents and who can put a stop to it?

Next question about the Board Members election coming up:
1. Who counts the votes?
2. Who secures the votes?
3. Who balances the votes against
the owners?
4. What procedures are in place
to make sure the board does not
stuff the ballot box with phony
ballots?
5. How does anyone know what the
true vote totals were and who
actually won? Are there any
independant spotters or third
party persons without a vested
interest over seeing any of
these processes?????

Webmaster Comment: I agree with the rentals here for short term also, We have at least 3 here in Building 5 that are a turnstyle, Many just for weekends only..
They leave towels hanging on patio;s and we even had one trying to sunbathe nude      ( Honest) These people that rent here short term use us like a hotel, many with drinks in the pool and last weekend babies in the Jacuzzi with diapers on. We need to start reporting these to Wayne or Roe in the office, I understand it's a $500.00 fine !!
With the amount we have going on here we could sure use that money in our budget and it will also slow the amount of short term intruders here...TIME TO HOLD OWNERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR UNIT AND NOT THE MANAGEMENT COMPANIES THAT ARE OUT FOR THE SAME BUCK AS ABSENT OWNERS..LETS START TO ISSUE NOTICES TO OWNERS, THIS IS SOMETHING WE CAN ALL BE INVOLVED WITH HERE IN GETTING OUR COMMUNITY AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.

Mr. Webmaster. The "VERY SHORT" term rental situation (Less than 3 months) is a perfect violation of the CC&R's that Brian (Board Member) should provide Leadership on.

Brian should immediately take charge of this situation, ban the offending Leasing Agents / Realtors from this property and make sure less than 3 months rentals will not be tolorated!!!

Brian. You can seperate yourself from the rest of the board members on this issue, and show the Owners that you are on their side of this issue.

A Leadership opportunity has been handed to you Brian....What are you going to do with it? Close your eyes and ears and go along with the board, or show some Leadership on the issue and put a stop to these short term rentals!
