To date this year in the Valley of the Sun, there have been 71 water-related incidents involving children. Of those, 13 were fatal, and approximately six non-fatal drowning victims will suffer a lifelong disability.
Drowning risk peaks in the hottest summer months, and humid August days combined with the distractions of back-to-school create a higher-than-average risk for drowning.
That’s why advocates, volunteers, and leaders across Arizona will unite this month, with the ninth annual “Drowning Impact Awareness Month” effort. The statewide purple ribbon campaign encourages awareness and action, and is coordinated by Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
PARENTS / RESIDENTS PLEASE WATCH YOUR CHILDREN
SOMEONE HAS TO WATCH THE CHILDREN AT
ANASAZI POOLS .....PLEASE !!
ANASAZI POOLS .....PLEASE !!
*********************************
Mr. Webmaster. NO ONE CARE ABOUT POOL SAFETY AND CHILD SAFETY AROUND THE POOLS HERE AT ANASAZI!
You know it, I know it and every other full time resident knows it! Why should the board care. 3 of them do not live here at all and the other 2 are no where to be found. Wayne does not live here and Roe does not live here.
NO ONE WITH AUTHORITY IS HERE AT ALL ON THE WEEKENDS to police the pools and get rid of the short term renters. Talking to the board at the meetings is like talking to a 3 year old.
HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO PUT UP WITH THIS KIND OF LACK OF SERVICES?
You are correct. This once beautiful piece of property is now no different than any other middle to low end rental community....and we are letting it happen and continue to let it happen right in front of our eyes. No one will even take action against Wayne and AAM. It is all ASS BACKWARDS since Herb, Marianne, the permanent staff and Rossmar were let go.
Mr. J #9
