Baseball Stars of the Future Play in Phoenix in the Summer
The Arizona League is a rookie-level professional baseball league run by Minor League Baseball. Games are played from mid-June until the end of August, and a season consists of 56 games. The players in this league are usually from other countries or drafted high school and college players from the MLB June Draft. Major league baseball players may also play in these games as part of a rehab assignment. Spectators may attend these games for free.
In 2012, the AZ Rookie League games will be played from June 20, 2012 through August 31, 2012.
