Thank You...Huge Turn Out To Residents Meeting

Hello and I want to thank all of you that took the time to attend this important meeting of our concerns,It was a great showing of about 60 residents and lasted till 930pm. So let me do a recap of the evening and also some new rules here on website.

As expected we had a variety of opinions but believe we all ended on the same conclusion, and that is there are some issues we are all concerned with and we did a great job last nite hashing out the truths and rumors

The meeting started a bit rough but once most realized they shared the same concerns generally it seemed to slip into a smooth gear... I was very impressed by the amount of knowledge at the meeting. Which only goes to show we have a great community here with a large majority of residents that are very knowledgeable,

 We learned that HOA Fees are not going up BUT actually the Board has been working to reduce our HOA fees to under $300 a month.

One of the biggest issues last nite was the amount of owners here that are renting units for less than the required 3 month minimum,

 The next Issue was about us keeping Police Security here
and the 3rd issue was about the double salaries in the office,

So we have a list of a couple other smaller issues, such as the cleaning of buildings and other related subjects.

Also a large group of us also believe we need to give Wayne a sporting chance here to get property back on track and we should support him till he may prove otherwise!

All though there was a large discussion on Roes lack of customer service skills and many of you said you just have to get on her good side, I dont agree with it,  that its your job and we should not have to tip toe in to see her.So cmon Roe put that smile on! You have a great smile..Just need to use it more..

 But the meeting did offer a great forum for discussion and many have thanked me for website as a great place of knowledge for us all to use. So with that being said we have a list that will be given to the board!! AND WE SHOULD ALL HOLD COMMENT on board until they are given a chance to address these issues.

 If they do not then we all discussed it will be time to start replacing them,,BUT THEY DO DESERVE THE TIME TO ADDRESS OUR CONCERNS..

 As for this website  it will continue as planned with some modifications, If you are going to comment !!  You will need to say who you are or it will not be published here. If you have something to say  OWN IT and sign your name, This will eliminate a website tainted with a few who want to complain but never go to meetings and not address the issue..There also will be no profanity or vulgar name calling. If you have a complaint or beef SEND IT but do it with some class!!  YOUR POINT CAN BE MADE WITHOUT BEING VULGAR..

 Now do not think that this will not always be  somewhat of a controversial website to some.Yes it will  and I will continue to let it flourish in an open forum as long as its done with some dignity...I appreciate all that talked with me and thanked me and also offered their opinions to help me in my day to day publications here.

We set out to make a voice here and you all made it happen, 

I look forward to seeing all of you at budget meeting where you will have some more questions answered...


But remember  we can have these meetings more often and they can be helpful to all residents, 

A few of you including myself last night  expressed an interest in running for the Board also, This will be a great place for you to provide your forum and I will add a special page here for those that may want to use it in the future..

So with that all being said I believe this meeting was very constructive, we dispelled some rumors and also found there are issues we all agreed on..

Thanks to Diane who also took a large amount of notes home to Husband Bryan who is a Board Member....

The future is in our hands and if we do it right and all get on same page We can have the community we all moved here for..Many of you seemed satisfied and some maybe not..

 BUT THIS WAS A GREAT 1ST STEP AND CONSIDERING THE TURNOUT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA OVERALL TO MEET...
We should all meet next month just to discuss response from board!!!.

Good morning, I was beginning to think all the complaints here were from just a couple residents that were the only ones complaining here!  After a walk around the grounds Sunday evening I was stopped 3 times along the way asking if I was aware of the Residents Meeting On Wednesday, The 1st group of 5 ladies were very excited to tell me about meeting, I then told them I was the owner of Anasazi Living and they expressed much gratitude to me for this website and I have to say all others I have talked to recently have the same opinion..So it looks like there should be a fair turnout at out 1st Residents meeting and many believe we should have one a month till things get in order here.JUST A NOTE ..This meeting will be a casual fireplace chat type of meeting poolside for us to discuss things important to us here.After speaking with a large amount of residents this week it seems many have the same concerns and are looking finally  like this may be a great avenue for residents to be a bigger part of community, Many have the same thoughts!!!  THERE ARE SOME CHANGES NEEDED TO OUR BOARD!!   This will be one of top subjects at meeting........Thank you all for the vote of confidence and I promise this site will always be available!!  But it shall remain an open and fair forum for all opinions, Also have talked with some winter residents due here for arrival and they are also excited this forum has come available............Thank You  Mr S.

As it seems this website is growing on a daily basis, The need to keep accurate information is very important to help all Residents stay on the same page.Seems like a lot of questions here could all be answered by a Board Member who just needs to step up and end the controversy, And many of you will jump up and say come to Board meeting, Well it seems people are not getting answers!!  So I believe one or more Board members need to address the issues presented here to help dispel rumors, And some will say this is not an official website so know reason to be concerned?/ Well you should be concerned because many residents are. I think one or more board members need to attend Residents meeting and answer some questions troubling us, If not it may be time this board meeting that we take over Regular Board Meeting and get are answers..Yes it can happen!!  So Board members put an end to all the speculation and address the residents like you should be doing..A SINGLE email could solve many issues!!    C

Gina bld 7 said... I agree with Diane, I think we need to get the facts before condeming the new management and the board. Any time I had a concern I presented it to the board, and it was addressed and resolved, not always to my satisfaction but they do not ignore any request brought to them. They are not going to address anything on this website, nor should they have to respond to made up rumors. They are NOT getting rid of the Police, Just ASK them. They have no plans to raise the dues, just ASK them. The mis information on this sight is running rampant. to use an example PAVERS, an issue that has been going on for years. The residents took the time to contact every person in thier building and collect the money from them, the board agreed to pay for half, the buildings that did not get done were the result of no one collecting money from the residents. Yet, someone said that the pavers were in the buildings where the board lives. Scott knew this and so does 100's of residents. so please just ASK someone before printing damning rumors about something you have no facts about. Also someone stated that the grass was dead, it is always dormant at this time of the year in preparation for the Winter Rye, again someone blamed the management company for the shape of the grass. It's absurd. Thank you Diane for trying to keep the peace and set the record straight. I am grateful for this website, but can we keep it constructive. AT THE TIME..2 RESIDENTS WENT AROUND TO EACH CONDO AND COLLECTED $100 FROM EACH OWNER...IT WAS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT IN OTHER BLDGS. SOME OF THE RESIDENTS DIDN'T WANT TO CONTRIBUTE AND THAT IS THE REASON SOME BLDGS. DON'T HAVE PAVERS...AS FOR THE LONG CHILDISH RANT FROM DIANE, I THINK WE ALL KNOW WHO DIANE IS AND YES, IT IS A BIG SOMETIMES THANKLESS JOB TO RUN A LARGE COMPLEX LIKE ANASAZI BUT FOR THE 19 YEARS I HAVE LIVED HERE UNTIL NOW WITH A FEW BUMPS HERE AND THERE IT HAS RUN PRETTY SMOOTHLY ALL THINGS CONSIDERED...

In regards to the pavers that surround  certain buildings, the residents of each building
were given an opportunity to put their own money into a fund to buy and install the pavers.
If the residents didn't put any funds in for their own building they would have to do without.

Hello, After receiving some emails I thought I might and answer here..AND want every one to realize my opinion is just a single voice just the same as all of you have...But some of you have asked my opinion here and as expected it had mixed reactions as with anyone else's  comments...So I will publish the things of concern here to me as a Resident and not a Webmaster......

MY PERSONAL OPINIONS AND CONCERNS:

1st ... as stated before I also believe Wayne has not had enough time here to be judged here at Anasazi !!. I believe in my opinion he needs some time to get into a rhythm here and do think he is working hard at it..

When I stated this in a post a few weeks back, I also received comments asking if I was crazy ..But as the reason for this website is everyone has an opinion.and I printed my opinions and those of others who disagreed with me.. .So all must be published and respected but silly attacks on the website owner will not be tolerated..It is a voice just like the news or newspapers......

2nd   My concerns are about a rise again in HOA FEE'S

3rd   We keep Phoenix Police here as Security

4th    This has been bothering me a long time and I cant ever get a straight answer,            
I would like to have Paver Blocks at my building also...AND ALWAYS THOUGHT IN A HOA ALL IMPROVEMENTS TO PROPERTY HAD TO BE EQUAL   But selective building were done and some were not...Seems like all board member building did get them   ??    Would like this addressed but know one seems to have the answer so that all buildings here are uniform ?  Have no issue if I have to pay a cost..JUST HOW D0O WE GET THEM...NO ONE KNOWS WHEN I ASK..
5th    I do not think we need to pay 2 salaries in the office and this is not based on anyone person there..just wonder why one person could handle it all these years and now with budgets tightening we are spending overboard with 2 salaries

So I took this time to address the readers here to show none of us here who write all agree on the same things...BUT this is what it is about, to get together where we can all sit and talk on a casual basis about things and figure which are the most important to us residents and use that knowledge to bring to board for their knowledge. Of what we as a community came together at to help make this continue to be a great place to call home

I know that all here are not going to agree , With over a 1000 of us here its hard to please all...BUT when a large amount of residents feel the same way I believe that this forum can be a great place as planned for compliments as well as criticism.......Thank You

Thank God someone took action to have the residents meeting.  It never took hold before when tried,so you know things must be pretty bad.  I will be there since my voice has been heard at many board meetings,not that it helped.

Is it possible to print out the blog for residents who don't have computers?  I tried without results; it would really be helpful.

WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE??? Why do you keep making up lies just to stir the pot. The Bunco meeting has been scheduled for months, just ask the women who planned it. The BOARD does not schedule the activities. WHO said we are getting rid of the police??? another lie. Read the newsletter that came out today for explanation of what happened reguarding the hiring of the new Property Mgmt. Co. I have been an Anasazi full time resident for 20 years, I knew all the past managers, and yes I agree, Marrianne was good. But it was HER decision to leave. We residents that have been paying attention to ALL of the issues that the Board has to encounter on a daily basis, have been seeking out other Management companies for years, but if we got rid of Rossmar we would lose Marrianne, so we stuck it out with Rossmar far longer than we wanted. If any of you uninformed nay sayers bothered to attend board meetings on a regular basis you would relize how hard it is to balance the budget given all the City imposed repairs we have had to endure the past few years. Combined with the aging property demands. The Board has tried to accomodate the majority of the residents on every issue brought up,- pool heating, tree trimming, along with the necessary pipe replacement, roof replacement, carpet replacement, walkway pavers... the list is endless.Try pleasing 1000 residents, it is impossible. If anyone is unhappy with an issue, all you have to do is bring it to the Management. However you cowards chose to sit on this website and create lie after lie and commiserate with each other about how bad things are here, Everyone of you have the option of running for the board. You need to grow up if you have a problem with something bring it to the attention of our management for review. Every complaint is taken very seriously. How is anything going to get accomplished by whinning on this stupid website. Having lived here for 20 years I have seen many friends and neighbors die and/or go to assisted living homes. Life is very short, why can't we spend our time getting along and pitching in to help our neighbors and make Anasazi, instead of choosing to live in the negative useless chaos this website is creating. I am very pleased at the job Wayne is doing, he was handed a very difficult job. We are a huge complex and learning all the issues is a long process. Why can't we give him a chance, and even offer a helping hand. He is an asset to this community with his background.

Ready for Meeting/ It Is Happening

Well we are getting close to our Private meeting and the response has been huge, We are running into bumps along the road, BUT THE MEETING WILL GO ON,Fireside at pool #1  The office changed the Bunco nite when they heard about meeting, BUT what the office needs to realize is this is our community and we will have meeting regardless..I would like all those attending to bring a list of things you would like to address, We are at a starting point here and this will be only the 1st of many private meetings over the next couple months!   So Office and Board Members pay attention, The citizens coalition is here to stay. SO step up your game we are watching and acting, Your future is in our hands now!

....Watch for next post regarding the office wanting to hire there own security here so they can make more money off the Residents..WE WANT PHOENIX POLICE AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE !  Also been chatting with former management folks and have a whole bunch of news coming!!  Hold on here we go !  Talk Soon

We Are Growing !

Well it starts out by saying thank you, I have been bombarded by calls and mails !! All of which have been compliments as to this website. I received a call from a long time resident last nite to inform me that he did not know of the website, He had received 2 calls one from New York and one from Canada asking about the website, This website shows there are people from over 38 states and Canada that read this website,Was informed many winter residents and owners also love the idea of a website with no restriction to know what is really going on in their absence.To this we show what a great community we have here at Anasazi.Now we have to work together to get us back where we belong and start taking charge and making the   changes we need here from personal to up standing board members.THANK YOU for your patronage here..We are on the way to taking back our community we all share.

we recently had some renovations completed by a Todd Neisis and are delighted with the results. he completed electrical, new lighting, kitchen face lift and a feature wall at the entrance to our one bedroom condo. The work completed was on schedule and of high quality. yet, the price was very

Welcome Back Winter Residents

WE HAVE RELAUNCHED WEBSITE

After all the changes going on in our community I was urged by many residents to relaunch our website,During your absence this site has been a integral part of resident communication,  We have a new management company in office now and many of you have enjoyed this website as a open forum on things going on, This blog is and was designed as an open place for good comments and bad alike, I have provided a email address for all those that would like to add something here, the email address to reach this blog is  webseller757@gmail.com.....I am looking very forward to hearing from all of you again..Just a reminder this site is here to VOICE your opinions and likes and dislikes in a non restricted  forum..Hoping to help make our community voice a little more heard.
